Is it too early for candles?

I haven't managed to get to a match yet this season but the last two scorelines have me worried. Ideally I would like plenty of replies to this posting telling me all sorts of reassuring predictions of how the rest of the season is going to go. I know that if the Mammy was still with us she would be starting with a candle or two after confession on a Saturday evening. On the positive side, it could be worse - we could be South Africa.

I haven't managed a match yet either ... hopefully soon I will. I can't give you much of anything positive and being honest I think we'll have to wait until we've played Worcester and Newcastle to know where we might stand at the end of the season.

Well we have done (or been done by) Newcastle.

Looks like it comes down to the Worcester game then.

Having said that the team have not had the benefit of the support of me and Mrs Doyle at all yet (when we did go to Jersey we lost so thought would give them some space).

See you all maybe at Tigers next weekend

Your support next weekend will undoubtedly make all the difference. But just in case, I'll pop in and light a candle.

Are we lighting candles now? Wuss beat Saints and we are bottom!

We shouldn't be bottom, if just one of the forwards had noticed that the backs were in acres of space at the end of the match and passed them the ball, then they would have won!
