Exeter Chiefs will hold a minute silence in memory of Margaret Thatcher ahead of Saturday’s match against London Irish. Exeter Rugby Club chairman and chief executive Tony Rowe OBE has today confirmed the club will be paying its respect to the memory of Baroness Margaret Thatcher, the former Prime Minister, ahead of this weekend’s home encounter with London Irish.

I won't be there but I honestly can't understand this and definitely don't agree with it.
This cruel country has driven me down, teased me and lied.
I've only sad stories to tell to this town
My dreams have withered and died.

I do hope to be there to support London Irish, but I really do do object to being subject to this.

The vote on the thisisexecter.co.uk site is defintely against the minute silence

Margaret Thatcher: Should Exeter Chiefs hold a minute silence before Saturday's match?
12%Yes
88%No

However, polls can often be garbage since we don't know how many people voted, just the percentage ... the Chief's sportnetwork site also has a vote with similar percentages but only 47 votes.
