Win against Bordeaux

I miss match reports.

It was freezing and there were more than a few opting out of attending. Their fingers and toes may have been warmer down the pub but they missed a good match. Not a vintage one but a really good game of rugby between two teams that were determined to play fast, entertaining rugby - probably in order to keep warm!

Shane Geraghty impressed for a change and the replacement hooker, Academy player Richard Palframan, who is supposed to be a prop, after a shakey start did well. Johnathan Joseph was excellent and I hope every effort is being made to keep him. We were worth the win and it should have been by more than 10 points. It was however well worth making the trip.

I must have watched a different game. I thought it was very poor from two poor teams.
