To you all.

Now that Edward's has left, let's hope we get a decent defensive coach in quick.

Happy New Year!

Was Edwards really with Irish enough to say that he has now left? I'm hoping for some major improvements in the team's fortunes over the next few months.

My New Year's resolution is to remain optimistic in the face of the evidence. The Mammy has already booked a pilgrimage to Lourdes and, if things don't get better soon, is muttering about Knock.

Filled with the excesses of the season 'the only way is up' - hopefully!

Once the uncertainty of January contracts/offers is over we may see a change in fortune; until then I think several of our youngsters as being distracted by 'outside forces' and that is not helping performance on the pitch as there are few older/wider heads to steady things. The last two weekends of March will make or break our season.

Happy new year to you all.

Patrick, we are all assuming that Sale's results will at least match ours....
